What are the opening hours?
Monday–Friday 9:00–19:00. At weekends, Zuzia and Ola tattoo by individual arrangement. All visits are by appointment.
Do you tattoo at weekends?
Yes, by appointment only. At weekends Zuzia and Ola tattoo, and we agree the session time individually. Message us in advance with the day that suits you and the tattoo you have in mind. All contact options are on our Contact page.
Prices and booking
How much does a tattoo cost at SHADY TATTOO?
The price depends on size, level of detail, placement and number of sessions. We quote individually once you send a description of your idea, the placement, approximate size and inspirations. See how it works on the prices page.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Your booking is confirmed by paying a deposit. The amount is set individually. You can reschedule no later than 3 days before the visit. Payment: BLIK or cash.
Can I reschedule my appointment?
Yes. You can change the date no later than 3 days before your visit – message us or call +48 691 351 557 and we’ll agree a new day.
Can I get a tattoo quote online?
Yes. Quotes at SHADY TATTOO are free, online too: send photos or a description of your idea on Instagram @tattoo.shady or Facebook. You don’t need to come in for a quote or book first.
I live in Wieruszów or Kępno – is it worth the trip?
Clients come to SHADY TATTOO from Wieluń and the surrounding area, including Wieruszów and Kępno. You can get your quote online, and when you come for your session you can park at the car park by Biedronka or by "American Apartments" ("Americanka"). Routes are described on our directions page (linked above, in the answer about our location).
Do you charge for a consultation or quote?
No – consultations and quotes are free. Just send a description of your idea or a screenshot of an inspiration. We also quote online for free, from photos and a description – no need to come in or book first.
How do I book a tattoo?
Call us or message us on Instagram or Facebook describing your idea, placement and size; we’ll suggest a consultation and a date.
Do you have gift vouchers?
Yes, SHADY TATTOO offers plexiglass gift vouchers. We’ll agree the voucher details with you individually, and the recipient chooses the design and date with us – the consultation and quote are free. We only tattoo adults. More: gift voucher.
Before your tattoo
Does getting a tattoo hurt?
A tattoo usually causes discomfort often compared to scratching or burning; how intense it feels depends on the placement and your individual sensitivity.
How old do I need to be to get a tattoo?
We only tattoo adults (18+). If we suspect someone is underage, the studio may refuse the service, so please bring an ID.
How should I prepare for a tattoo?

Can I bring my own design?
Yes, inspirations are welcome; we use them to create a custom design that fits your body, rather than copying someone else’s work.
Can you tattoo a portrait from a photo?
Yes, we do portrait tattoos from a sharp, high-resolution photo with clear lighting.
After your tattoo
How long does a tattoo take to heal?
The surface usually heals in about 2–4 weeks; the deeper layers of skin take longer to regenerate.
How do I care for a fresh tattoo?
Wash it gently, apply a thin layer of the recommended product, don’t scratch it, and avoid sun, swimming pools and saunas until it has healed. Details: tattoo aftercare.
Do you do touch-ups and cover-ups?
Yes, we do cover-ups (covering old tattoos), as well as refreshing older tattoos. Report any justified concerns about the tattoo within 14 days – if the complaint is accepted, we’ll fix the tattoo free of charge. Design changes are made before tattooing begins.
Do you refresh old, faded tattoos?
Yes, we refresh older work where the lines have softened or the blacks and shading have lost contrast. Send a sharp photo of the tattoo in daylight via Instagram or Facebook and we’ll assess what can be improved. The consultation and quote are free. More: tattoo refresh.
Who does the tattoos?
At SHADY TATTOO, tattoos are done by Shady (Shady Khabbaz, the studio owner), Ola and Zuzia. Martyna is the studio manager and performs the piercings.
What piercing do you offer and who does it?
Yes – piercing at SHADY TATTOO is done by Martyna, our studio manager: ear piercing with the STUDEX System75, plus navel and nose piercing. Ask for details when booking. More on the Piercing page.
How do I care for a fresh piercing?
Wash your hands before touching it, clean it with the product your piercer recommends (e.g. sterile saline), don’t remove the jewellery, and avoid pools and saunas while it heals. If symptoms get worse, see a doctor.
How old do I need to be for a piercing?
In general, under Polish law a minor needs the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
What if my tattoo looks infected?
If you notice increasing pain, swelling, pus or a fever, contact a doctor straight away.
